The boiling of babies shall commence tomorrow

After a full day of contradictory news, the final results of the Italian elections are in: there were enough coglioni to vote Berlusconi out of office if only by a tiny margin. Never a member of the reality-based community, Berlusconi, before the elections, warned that his opponents are communists, and, in China, communists boil babies. Now I look back with suspicion at all those delicious dinners.

Goodbye to Mirko "poor Europe, the faggots are in the majority" Tremaglia, minister for Italians abroad, to Mario "we'll bring pigs to piss on the ground where mosques are going to be built" Borghezio, member of the European committee for civil liberties, to Rocco "the family exists in order to allow women to have children and to have the protection of a male who takes care of them" Buttiglione, minister of EU policies, to Marcello "same-sex marriage is a whim, not a civil right" Pera, speaker of the Senate, and to all the gang. Please exit slowly and let the door hit you on the way out.

What a long, dark, night of the reason it was, and how many monsters it has created!

And, Fausto Bertinotti, I know you are reading this, please, please, I am begging you, don't fuck it up this time.

If only the Gore-Bush result had tilted the same way!

On a related note, Vladimir Luxuria is officially the first transgender person to be elected. Even though during the campaign she was showered with finocchio!

On an unrelated note, the italians also arrested the boss of the bosses of the mafia...but he doesn't look like Tony Soprano!

Indeed, I forgot to say goodbye to Alessandra Mussolini, grand-daughter of Benito.

In a televised debate with Vladimir Luxuria, early on she said "what is this 'transgender', I don't understand it, it sounds like Schwarzenegger." Her last words, after Vladimir called her a 'fascist,' were "meglio fascista che frocio," "better [to be] a fascist than a faggot."

Hi Luca. Thanks to you and all "brains abroad" who have been decisive for this result.

Now I'm (almost) not worried about Bertinotti to fuck up. I'm worried that with such small majority it will be very difficult to propose PACS (some kind of private civil union) or change rules about artificial aided fecondation, research about life topics, and so on...

Bertinotti's numbers are strong, so he can press on these topics... hopefully without breaking everything. Radical Party was really well supported (even by Peter Gabriel :-O ) but have got few votes to push on civil rights.

Even now dumb old fashion catholics are still too many, compared to progressist.

I think the one way to REALLY win over Berlusconism is not just winning the election, but also being able to change people view about a couple of things.

Anyway at least "il Caimano" hasn't been able to bring so REAL PROUD fascists (Mussolini, Ruspoli, Rauti) in the government.

PS: Speaking of fascists, Alemanno is going to challenge Veltroni to be major in Rome. Let's hope for best... :-|
